Gallery Customization

Make your gallery uniquely yours with themes, watermarks, and branding options.

Accessing Theme Settings

  • Go to your gallery dashboard

  • Click the Settings tab

  • Select Theme from the sidebar

    • Color Schemes

    Choose from preset themes or create your own:

    Preset Themes:

    Custom Colors:

  • Primary color (buttons, links)

    • Font Selection

    Choose fonts that match the style of your celebration:

    Font Categories:

  • Serif - Traditional, elegant (e.g., Playfair Display)

  • Sans-serif - Modern, clean (e.g., Montserrat)

  • Script - Romantic, decorative (e.g., Great Vibes)

    • Font Pairing:

  • Heading font

  • Body font

    • Dark Mode

    Enable dark mode for evening events:

  • Toggle Dark Mode in theme settings

  • Customize dark mode colors separately

  • Set automatic switching based on time

    • Setting a Cover Photo

  • Go to gallery Settings > Cover

  • Choose a photo from your gallery, or

  • Upload a custom cover image

    • Cover Editor

    Use the cover editor for advanced customization:

    Positioning:

  • Drag to reposition the image

  • Pinch/zoom to adjust scale

  • Set focal point for responsive display

    • Overlay Options:

  • Add text overlay (names, date)

  • Apply color gradient

  • Adjust overlay opacity

    • Text Styling:

  • Font selection

  • Size and color

  • Position (top, center, bottom)

  • Shadow and effects

    • Cover Display Options

    Protect your photos and add branding with watermarks.

    Enabling Watermarks

  • Go to Settings > Watermark

  • Toggle Enable Watermark

  • Configure watermark options

    • Watermark Types

    Text Watermark:
  • Enter custom text (e.g., "#SarahAndJohn2025")

  • Choose font, size, and color

  • Set opacity (10-100%)

    • Image Watermark:

  • Upload your logo or monogram

  • Supports PNG with transparency

  • Recommended size: 500x500px

    • Watermark Position

    Choose where the watermark appears:
  • Top Left, Top Center, Top Right

  • Center Left, Center, Center Right

  • Bottom Left, Bottom Center, Bottom Right

    • Watermark Settings

    Watermark Best Practices

  • Keep it subtle - 20-40% opacity is usually best

  • Use corners - Bottom-right is standard

  • Consider removal - Offer unwatermarked downloads

  • Test first - Preview on different photo types

    • Add branded frames for guests to share on social media.

    Frame Templates

    Available Frame Styles:
  • Classic Border - Simple elegant border

  • Polaroid - Vintage instant photo look

  • Story Frame - Optimized for Instagram Stories

  • Hashtag Frame - Includes your event hashtag

  • Photo Booth - Fun party style

    • Custom Frames

    Create your own frames:

  • Go to Settings > Social Frames

  • Click Create Custom Frame

  • Upload your frame design (PNG with transparency)

  • Set photo placement area

  • Save and preview

    • Frame Requirements:

  • Format: PNG with transparency

  • Size: 1080x1920px (vertical) or 1920x1080px (horizontal)

  • Photo area: Mark where photos should appear

    • Removing Mimentum Branding

    Available on the Business plan:

  • Go to Settings > Branding

  • Toggle Remove Mimentum Branding

  • Optionally add your own branding

    • Display messages to guests in your gallery.

    Creating Announcements

  • Go to Settings > Announcements

  • Click Add Announcement

  • Enter your message

  • Configure display options

    Display Options

  • Position: Top banner, popup, or slide-in

  • Duration: Always visible, or auto-dismiss

  • Scheduling: Show between specific times

  • Targeting: Show to all or specific guests

    • Gallery customization is not gated by plan. Themes, colours, fonts, watermarks and
    social frames are available on every plan, including Free.

    The only plan-gated features in Mimentum are the custom slug, custom domain, removing
    Mimentum branding, advanced analytics, priority support and the AI assistant — see
    Plans & Pricing.

  • Match your celebration - Use your own colours and fonts

  • Keep it simple - Don't over-complicate the design

  • Test on mobile - Most guests use phones

  • Preview everything - Check all settings before the event

  • Ask for feedback - Show friends before going live
