Managing Your Gallery

Public Galleries

Anyone with the link can view photos. Best for hosts who want to share their celebration widely.

Password Protected

Guests must enter a password to view the gallery. We recommend:
  • Using a simple, memorable password

  • Sharing the password through a different channel than the link

  • Common choices: your event date, venue name, or a special word
  • Private Galleries

    Only you can access the gallery. Photos are completely hidden from guests. Useful for:
  • Organizing photos before going public

  • Creating personal archives

  • Testing before your event
  • Enabling Guest Uploads

    When enabled, guests can contribute their photos to your gallery:

  • Go to Gallery Settings > Guest Uploads

  • Toggle "Allow Guest Uploads" on

  • Optionally set an upload deadline

  • Choose whether guests need to provide their name
  • Upload Guidelines

    You can set guidelines for guest uploads:
  • Maximum file size per photo

  • Allowed file types (JPEG, PNG, HEIC, etc.)

  • Whether to allow video uploads

  • Require photo approval before display
  • Moderating Uploads

    If you enable moderation:
  • New uploads go to a review queue

  • You can approve or reject each photo

  • Rejected photos are deleted permanently

  • Guests are not notified of rejections
  • Creating Albums

    Albums help organize photos into logical groups:
  • Ceremony

  • Reception

  • Getting Ready

  • Photo Session

  • Guests & Dancing
  • To create an album:

  • Go to your gallery

  • Click "Create Album"

  • Name your album and add a description

  • Drag photos into the album or select multiple and move them
  • Photo Metadata

    Each photo can have:
  • Caption: A description or note

  • Photographer Credit: Acknowledge who took the shot

  • Tags: Keywords for easy searching

  • Date/Time: Usually extracted automatically from photo metadata
  • Reordering Photos

    Photos can be arranged by:
  • Upload date

  • Photo date (from metadata)

  • Custom order (drag and drop)

  • Random shuffle
  • Removing Individual Photos

  • Click on the photo you want to remove

  • Click the trash icon or select "Delete"

  • Confirm the deletion
  • Warning: Deleted photos cannot be recovered. Consider downloading first.

    Bulk Deletion

    To delete multiple photos:
  • Enter selection mode (checkbox icon)

  • Select the photos you want to remove

  • Click "Delete Selected"

  • Confirm the bulk deletion
